Savoring every bit of Color
~A red leaf contrasting with the silver foliage of Santolina...
~Colorful glass bottle's in the greehouse/potting shed window's reflecting in the sun....
~Even savoring the beautiful brown earth tone's in these thistle seed pod's..
~And a spot of pink to savor ...
There are beautiful color's in Nature, all we have to do is look closely! Have a beautiful weekend...savor the color's & beauty in your fall Garden's....
See? There was pink in the last photo! I noticed the picture of "A Young Girl Reading". That painting hung over the bed of my best friend in high school who is now my sil. Great memories are attached to that picture!
Silver and red.. Top class, full marks, simply stunning... Thistle Seeds are so over looked but have real beauty. Is it Lavander in the last pictures? I have grown Lavander for many years in the front garden, it was placed next to the path leading to the front door. I loved the smell of it, we would dry it and place it in draws and wardrobes. Then two years ago I started to come out in a rash, each time I touched it, the reaction got worse. This year I had some honey given to us, and within a very short time of eating it I had a very bad reaction.. my face started to swell and so did my fingers & lips. No more loverly lavender pollen honey for me. I have been told that to be alergic to lavender is very rare. Rare it might be, sad it certainly is.
Catherine, the collages are as always beautiful. Though I dread the colder temperatures, this season also has its beautiful views. That's what I am reminded of when I look at the collage with the seed pods. Take care, Andrea
It's always the same here, I think, what a wonderful first collage, then I see the next and it's also beautiful and so on and so on and I can't find a favourite, because I love all. We have the first snow! Wish you a very nice Sunday! Wurzerl
