The red in the top pictures is amazing, it really dose shout out at you. The paw prints are fun, something I would have just dismissed, you have a very good eye for a picture... and the bark is stunning, now I must admit to looking for forms and marks in tree trunks, bark is a beautiful part of a tree and hold many surprises. All these pictures have opened my eyes today, I now want to get out and take pictures.. lots of them.
Great views of your wonderful part of the country, Cat. Could red get any redder or blue mountains any more calming? One of my favorite things is really 'looking' at tree bark. Thanks for sharing all this beauty!
Hey Catherine..seeing your photos reminds me (and they are beautiful by the way, I love the up close views of the bark of those trees ) anyway, I took some tree close ups this summer. I'm becoming quite fascinated with the way the bark looks up close. I think they would make some great paintings. Yours are so lovely.
Luckily you discovered "only" the tracks of the bear!!!You have a "sharp" eye for all these wonderful details! Beautiful pictures (also the last two posts)! Have a sunny weekend, Barbara
Hi Cat! Thank you for visiting my blog and making it #45 for posts!
I live near Asheville NC and have many of the same types of views you have in these pictures!
So not only do we have the same taste, we both live by beautiful mountains! We had a bear a few weeks ago steal our birdfeeder....it was squirrel proof, but not bear proof :-) Penny Penny
Can we talk about the view, Cat? Great photos ... always a treat. Can we talk about 'flow blue'? Just noticed one of your favorites ... I have a 12-piece place setting PLUS ...
The bear track`s are amazing. The leaf looks so tender lying on the track`s.
I was walking on a road in the woods of British Colombia one time, all by myself. A little bit nervous. Waiting for a bear to jump in front of me... ;) Puh! He never showed up... Hihi.

The red leaves in the top photos are beautiful. And I like the "tree-twin"

Very cool collages.
