Snow Captures from Thursdays storm...

~Ice cycles hanging from eave's...stood underneath
roof and shot looking up..blue sky in
background & a leaf!

~Woke up last thursday and everything
was covered again in a beautiful
white blanket of snow..measured 8" and
then we got some sleet on top of that...still lots
of snow~sunny day's, but too cold to melt!

~Lot's of animal track's...and I love
the bluish hue of the snow..now that it's been
melting and re~freezing...

~Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

We haven't had snow like this (yet) on Long Island this year. But few sights are more beautiful than looking out at a backyard covered in pristine snow, where ice coats every branch and makes little sparkles in the sunshine!
Your pictures are very pretty!

Oh Cat .... how absolutely gorgeous!!! Waking up to a winter wonderland ...untouched by human or animal... the pure undriven snow is one of the most beautiful sites this side of heaven... used to be scenes like this were very common ... now due to growth they are few and far between.... lucky you to see this right in your own backyard....

FABULOUS pictures as always

Looks like you had quite a storm. You've caught some Beautiful shots. We didn't get any snow yesterday...it fell north and west of us, but we're having frigid temps. I don't even want to stick my big toe outside!
I love those sunset pics!

LOVE your icicle shots! The blue sky in the background really makes it beautiful. Be careful out there standing under icicles! Stay warm.
