~ It was one of those March day's
when the sun shines hot and
the wind blows cold;
When it is Summer in the light,
And Winter in the shade.
~Charles Dickens
~Yesterday that twig was brown and bare;
To~day the glint of green is there,
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!

Beautiful pictures and words.. I have not heard many of those.. as for weekend happyness... I hope you have bads full of it.
Lovely photo collection, also love the ones with faded sides, really neat and draws the eye to the centre.
I love Charles Dickens *!* his words are so descriptive and I know of those deceptive March days he speaks of. The same could be said for my August days here in Aus .. not really looking forward to that month LOL*!*

OK Cat, your enchanting spring photos put me to shame. I'm at the lake house for a weekend respite ... beautiful in its own right but no signs of spring on the horizen (only a foot of snow). But I do have lovely sunsets over the icy lake (I'll joyfully take what I can get!) Hugs ...
one can stay away from your beautiful blog for only so long, Cat!!! those pics and quotes are addictive!!! :)

hi Catherine, glad you found me again. Your photos are great. I was outdoors all day, cutting back roses and lavender and cannot wait for spring to be here permanently. Take care! Andrea
Mmmm... your blog is enchanting with your photos of plants, etc. It makes me look at this in a whole different way, a whole new world... beautiful!
Thank you for your nice comment on my blog today!
How funny, I was just noticing bugs that found thier way inside my old farmhouse on our only warm day so far. Usually I'd be irritated, but this year, I am so desperate for Spring to come, the bugs made me smile
