~In the Scenery of Spring~Gorgeous Pink's & Blue!

~A gorgeous Spring day full of garden chores
& garden beauty! :)

a gorgeous Spring blue sky!

~It was hard to stay focused on work,
so distracted by the beautiful sky
& flowering branches, all I seemed to
get done was looking up & going to
grab my camera! :)

Spring begins...

Enjoy the Scenery of Spring!

~Gardening is the art that uses plants & flowers
as paint, and the
soil and sky
as it's canvas.

Now don't get this wrong.. I am NOT refering to you as an old maid.. ha! honestly.

I came across this and thought because of the blossom I would post it here for you..

The Blossom and the Maid.

I saw a little blossom by the way.
'Twas simple, beautiful, and that was all.
Its scent is borne upon the winds of May,
It blooms in springtime___withers in the fall.

I know a pretty maiden, by the way.
Than she no fairer flower springs from earth
She sings thruout the gladsome summer day.
Her beauty lies in pride of modest worth.

These beauties are alike in certain ways.
He who observes the best best understands.
If left unplucked till past their blooming days,
Both either fade or fall to other's hands.

__Colfax Burgoyne Harman

I just think it is a beautiful poem as I think your picture are beautiful to.

Great pictures! I love how the redbuds are brightening up everything around here now. I don't have one in my own garden. Yet.

Lovely shots Cat! I'm not much of a gardener at all...but I did some "container" gardening today and planted a few petunias in some containers I had around. I hope they live!!! You have inspired me!

What a wonderful "background" - your dark blue sky - for the beautiful plants. The last quote is great!
Have a good time!

Looks like your weekend was glorious, Cat. What lovely photos! Can't wait for my redbuds to bloom. This week my shadblows and Yoshino should pop. At the lake over the weekend and came home stunned to see all the activity with our warm weather including blooming beloved bloodroot and trillium. *Hugs*

Hi Cat, lovely as always, all your photos are!! I feel the same way, it is very hard to concentrate on getting work done, the outside keeps calling me, it is a terrible but wonderful temptation.
