Aloha Cat!
So sweet of you to showcase the teacup...it was a pleasure to make it for you. :-) I love your blue and white vignette!

I'm also loving the daffodils. (hmmm...maybe I can try to reproduce it in clay?!)

I like your birthday-gift, so beautyful in the colors blue and white.
It's no secret that the color blue is my favorite color too.

Beautiful...I'm jealous that you have flowers already.

The temps have started to moderate after the coldest winter I can remember. The birds are more active, but no flowers yet...soon though, I hope, very soon.

What a wonderful gift from your friend...such talent.

Spring is one of my favorite times of year. Here in Fiji we do not have a spring. Most flowers bloom around xmas but it is usually bloody hot and raining.
Lovely shots

Oh, i LOVE your spring mosaics!!! Your flowers are a little further along down there... we have no daffs, not even any crocus yet. But the snowdrops are out, so I'm ever hopeful that spring is really coming! :)

Happy belated birthday, and have a wonderful weekend!

Dear Cat,
thanks for your nice comments on my blog. You flower pictures look incredible. Sorry to hear that your sick, I know how you feel. Well I think it's better if you go to the doctor, becuase if you dont't the laryngitis can get even more worse. Besides the antibiotics I made inhalations with Camomile twice a day for about 10 minutes. That helped a lot and I felt better after two days. I hope that helped you a bit.
Have a wonderful weekend,
hugs Britta

Beautiful hints of spring, Catherine. :)
Wonderful collages.
There are buds on the Daffodils in my garden now. I'm looking forward to see them unfold. :)
You've inspired me to make a little nest from branches. It will be a nice decoration at Easter, I think. :)

Your birthday gift is lovely.
A very nice present from Hasmin to you. :)

Until next time:
enjoy spring
and
take care. :)

HUG'S! :)))

You photographs are so beautiful! The teacup with roses is amazing! I thought they were real flowers.

I am sitting here today with the fog and the cold rain in my NC mountains waiting for spring. The trees are starting to bud here.

Hi Cat,
Thank you for your visit to my blog and your lovely comments. I LOVE your blog and will be back often for sure. Your pictures are beautiful. Actually we named our cat Nigella after Nigella Lawson though I do love~ love-in-the-mist. Hopefully I'll still have time to blog in the Spring. It's just around the corner and there's so much to still do.
Love seeing how further ahead your gardens are in Virginia then we are in CT.
Take care,
Carole

What a switch! From ice to daffodils. Mine are popping now too. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.

Ah, you're ahead of us up here. My first daffodil looks set to pop open tomorrow or the next day, but the rest are far behind. Thank you for the tip on the squill identification, I'd never heard of them before :)

I googled it to get some pictures, and I think you are right. I believe it said they are also known as wood hyacinth, so it makes sense it would resemble standard and grape hyacinth. I'll know where to go if I need help figuring out the rest of the blooms!

You know when the daffodils start to bloom that spring is just around the corner. Guess I'm ready for it to warm up.
