The snow & ice cycles have melted, & even though cold
air is on the way...the Daffodils have started to bloom,
The Forsythia's are beginning to yellow, the roses are leafing out
A couple of robins & a little white butterfly
are all enjoying the warmer air...
And reminding me Spring is near....Spring is on the way...
Hints that Spring is here! :)

Aloha Cat!
So sweet of you to showcase the teacup...it was a pleasure to make it for you. :-) I love your blue and white vignette!
I'm also loving the daffodils. (hmmm...maybe I can try to reproduce it in clay?!)
Hello,
Thanks for your visit.
I like your birthday-gift, so beautyful in the colors blue and white.
It's no secret that the color blue is my favorite color too.
Bye & regards from Holland

Beautiful...I'm jealous that you have flowers already.
The temps have started to moderate after the coldest winter I can remember. The birds are more active, but no flowers yet...soon though, I hope, very soon.
What a wonderful gift from your friend...such talent.
Wonderful!!! Spring, Spring, Spring!!!
Thank you so much I love this post. When I 'm looking out of my window it ist grey it is dark it is raining whole the time and sometimes it 's more snow than rain.
Thank you so much for your flowers of spring.

I am so excited for Spring and only hope those beautiful colors will appear in my neck of the woods soon!
You have captured the essence of Spring so beautifully!
Your birthday gift is absolutely delightful!

Beautiful! It is a chilly, rainy day here...but I know Spring is just around the corner! And we need the rain...so I'm not complaining!
Spring is one of my favorite times of year. Here in Fiji we do not have a spring. Most flowers bloom around xmas but it is usually bloody hot and raining.
Lovely shots
Cheers
What a beauty of a post, lovely colours of spring.
Thanks for the visit to Norfolk Gardens, dont forget to pop and see more from there on Sunday.
Also thanks for your comments.
That's a beautiful tribute to spring Cat. I like the collage's. And thank you for all your nice comments too.
Oh, i LOVE your spring mosaics!!! Your flowers are a little further along down there... we have no daffs, not even any crocus yet. But the snowdrops are out, so I'm ever hopeful that spring is really coming! :)
Happy belated birthday, and have a wonderful weekend!
Mary
Your post, delightful (your stunning photos always tugging at our hearts), and your gift, devine! Surrounded by blessings, you are most deserving, dear Cat! Spring is in the air, I smelled it today! Hugs from your devoted fan & friend :)
Wow Cat!! You have some fantastic stuff on your blog. I especially love the roses and icicles.
I like the way you have done your pictures.
Thanks for visiting my blog too. :)
Dear Cat,
thanks for your nice comments on my blog. You flower pictures look incredible. Sorry to hear that your sick, I know how you feel. Well I think it's better if you go to the doctor, becuase if you dont't the laryngitis can get even more worse. Besides the antibiotics I made inhalations with Camomile twice a day for about 10 minutes. That helped a lot and I felt better after two days. I hope that helped you a bit.
Have a wonderful weekend,
hugs Britta
Flowers of spring -how beautiful!
Hi, Cat! Thanks for the beautiful view of spring from VA. No daffodils except in the stores around here but we are expecting it to reach 50 this weekend. Your blog is always such a beautiful place to visit.

Beautiful hints of spring, Catherine. :)
Wonderful collages.
There are buds on the Daffodils in my garden now. I'm looking forward to see them unfold. :)
You've inspired me to make a little nest from branches. It will be a nice decoration at Easter, I think. :)
Your birthday gift is lovely.
A very nice present from Hasmin to you. :)
Until next time:
enjoy spring
and
take care. :)
HUG'S! :)))
You photographs are so beautiful! The teacup with roses is amazing! I thought they were real flowers.
I am sitting here today with the fog and the cold rain in my NC mountains waiting for spring. The trees are starting to bud here.

Tank you for your very nice comment at TYRA'S GARDEN
Your "joi de vivre" (joy of life) always amazes us and we can see it in each photo you bring to us on your marvellous project.
Dear Catherine,
I´m pleased to meet you and your lovely blog! Great pictures you show here and I must say all the blue-white china makes my heart beating faster! I love it. Feel always welcome at Something White and be sure: I´ll be back here.
Many sunny greetings from Belgium, Marjolijn
The whole clusters of these flowers arranged in these rectangles are very lovely to view. So boutique!
Hi Cat,
Thank you for your visit to my blog and your lovely comments. I LOVE your blog and will be back often for sure. Your pictures are beautiful. Actually we named our cat Nigella after Nigella Lawson though I do love~ love-in-the-mist. Hopefully I'll still have time to blog in the Spring. It's just around the corner and there's so much to still do.
Love seeing how further ahead your gardens are in Virginia then we are in CT.
Take care,
Carole
What a switch! From ice to daffodils. Mine are popping now too. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos.
Ah, you're ahead of us up here. My first daffodil looks set to pop open tomorrow or the next day, but the rest are far behind. Thank you for the tip on the squill identification, I'd never heard of them before :)
I googled it to get some pictures, and I think you are right. I believe it said they are also known as wood hyacinth, so it makes sense it would resemble standard and grape hyacinth. I'll know where to go if I need help figuring out the rest of the blooms!
You know when the daffodils start to bloom that spring is just around the corner. Guess I'm ready for it to warm up.
Your photos are really beautiful. What a sweet way to say "Spring is almost here." :)
Hugs & Blessings,
~Katherine~
Great spring pics....I especially like the bird's eggs.
Your pictures are a feast for the eyes, full of promise of this season of the year we were so much longing for: Spring! Thank you for sharing!
